Programme Description | This course is aimed at students who: 1. Are seeking a career in the Automotive Engineering Trades Industry. 2. Wish to enhance and develop a range of practical skills for life 3. Wish to undertake a course in which they can gain recognition of prior learning or credit transfer when entering appropriately related post-school education and/or training; and/or require a foundation of skills and knowledge that can be built on as the need arises. Programme Objectives: 1. To acquire extensive knowledge, practical, reasoning and solving skills applied to problems in the real world of work related to the Certificate IV in Automobile Engineering [Heavy Mobile Plants] 2. To be practically competent in solving engineering problems in relation to Heavy Mobile Plants. 3. This course provides opportunities for students to develop relevant technical, vocational and interpersonal competencies suitable for employment and further training. They can also develop skills, knowledge and experiences - such as teamwork, communication and occupational health and safety- that are transferable to other industries. |
