Thank you for visiting the Fiji National University website. This section of the site outlines what you need to know to apply to study at Fiji National University, Fiji’s only national University.

Admission criteria for TVET programmes;

  • Applicants to meet Minimum Entry Requirements as per TVET Programmes
  • Applicant may also be admitted to the programme who may not meet the requirement on the years of continuous education progression, but who are able to demonstrate their ability to succeed in programmes at these levels on the basis of their maturity, work experience or prior learning and are 17 years of age.

Once you have been approved for a particular programme you will be given an offer letter. Upon acceptance of the offer from Fiji National University, Regional students can travel to Fiji with the following details:

  • FNU Offer Letter
  • Valid Passport
  • Return air tickets
  • Police report duly signed by your local police (not older than one year)
  • Medical report duly signed by your local doctor (not older than three months)

Upon arrival at Fiji National University you will need to present your offer letter to the Academic office for admission purposes. Once you have completed the formalities at Fiji National University you must obtain your student permit which you will need to apply for within the first month of your arrival in Fiji.

Regional students are given 30 days from the date of arrival to lodge their student permit.
