Programme Description | The programme is two years full-time programme, which prepare students with comprehensive knowledge and technical skills in the animal husbandry field and their management. They will also be instilled with self-confidence in animal handling techniques and discipline in animal ethics and their welfare. |

Minimum Requirement | a) The Applicant must have passed Fiji Year 12 Certificate (Form 6)Examination or equivalent with a minimum of 200 marks with a pass (50 percent) in Mathematics, English and either Biology or Agriculture or Chemistry. b) Applicants with Certificate IV in Animal Husbandry or mature applicants with vast years of experience and practical skills in animal husbandry are eligible for admission in to the programme. c) Applicants may also be admitted to the programme who may not meet the requirement on the years of continuous education progression, but who are able to demonstrate their ability to succeed in the respective programmes on the basis of their maturity, work experience or prior learning d) The Dean may require such an applicant to sit for specific or general examination as a pre-requisite for any such enrolment, or may restrict enrolment only to certain prescribed courses that must be passed to progress further. |
