Programme Description
This course is aimed at students who:
1. Are seeking a career in the Automotive Engineering Trades Industry.
2. Wish to enhance and develop a range of practical skills for life.
3. Wish to undertake a course in which they can recognise prior learning or credit transfer when entering appropriately related post-school education and/or training; and/or require a foundation of skills and knowledge that can be built on as the need arises.

This course should enable students to:
1. Understand the concepts, techniques, terminology and content appropriate to the industry focus of the course.
2. Demonstrate employment-related practical skills and workplace best practices.

Minimum Requirement
(a) Passed year 12/Form 6 plus English.
(b) Indentured applicants with less than the above requirements but at least two years of industrial experience can be considered matured students.
(c) A pass in Level III in Automotive Engineering with 6 months of Industrial Attachment.
