Graduates will have a good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and analysis, management and cost accounting, budgetary control, tax accounting, law and accounting, auditing, accounting standards and corporate reporting, planning and consulting, business information systems, accounting theory, research methods, business ethics and professional codes of conduct, accounting and accountability of public sector and not-for-profit organizations.

a) The minimum entry requirement for admission to Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Finance) is a pass in Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination with 200 out of 400 marks with 50 percentage or more marks in English. 
b) Students who have successfully completed their Foundation Studies with a GPA of 2.0 can also enroll in this Programme.
c) Mature aged applicants who do not meet the 13 years of continuous progression but has relevant industrial experience of at least 2 years can also enroll upon Dean-CBHTS.

Note: Industrial Attachment Requirement:
Directed Industrial Attachment (DIA) 4 months: Assisting with Employment after passing 50 percentage of the courses listed under the programme of study.
