Unit Name: Business Statistics

Description: Business Statistics course intends to train students with specific statistical method and help them visualise the business world from a scientific and quantitative perspective. The course will allow students to learn how to assess uncertainty in business through topics such as probability distributions, sampling, hypothesis testing, linear regression and correlation. Students will also explore different datasets to conduct statistical inference, data analysis and use Microsoft excel analysis tools to interpret and implement statistical solutions for business. Though the course may seem mathematical, it equips students to minimise the risk of subjective decision and builds knowledge for advanced courses in economics.
