Unit Name: Banking Operations & Management

Description: This course intends to introduce students towards decision making and offers a unique approach to understanding bank management. The course also allows the student to understand that commercial banks operate in a rapidly changing regulatory and economic environment and lets the students recognize that competitive pressures have increased, so the opportcourseies for banks to offer new product. Furthermore this course will help students establish managerial skills and to confront the perplexing issues of risk, regulation, technology, and competition, that banker and other financial-service managers see as their greatest challenges for the present and future. The course tries to expand the knowledge that the students have already obtained in lower level banking or finance courses and tries to prepare the students for actual operations and management of commercial banks or other financial institutions.
