Unit Name: Fundamentals of Banking

Description: Fundamental of Banking is a subject which has the central focus on the role of the Central Bank and Depository Institutions. The course has a mixture of theoretical, technical and practical initiatives to provide students with a good grounding for further higher level courses like Monetary Economics, International Trade and Finance and other courses in Finance and Banking. Furthermore, the course provides in-depth knowledge to the students to analyze the current scenarios of banks in Fiji.
