Occupational health and safety analyze many types of work environments and work procedures. Specialists inspect workplaces for adherence to regulations on safety, health, and the environment. They also design programs to prevent disease or injury to workers and damage to the environment.

(a) Successful Completion of Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) or Form 6 with 200 out of 400 marks with 50 % marks in English and any 3 other subjects.  
(b) Mature applicants with less than the above requirements but at least two years industrial experience can be considered.
