Unit Name: Personal Protective Equipment

Description: This course offers a variety of assessment criteria and the skill level which enhance the ability of the individuals to understand the Personal protective equipment application and the usage correctly. It also enables students to acquire basic information on the operation of different types of equipment which allows the elimination and the control of the hazards at a workplace to function.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, you should be able to: 1. Understand the legislation requirements of the personal protective equipment. 2. Describe different types of equipment and its usage. 3. Demonstrate the servicing requirement of the equipment. 4. Illustrate the assessment and the auditing procedures of the PPEs. 5. Application of the standards of the personal protective equipment.
