Programme Description
The Environmental Management Act of 2005, Fiji requires that persons knowledgeable and confident in the subject of environmental management should be employed in major industry and in Government Institutions, which are responsible for protection of the environment. This is to ensure that all environmental issues related to the institutions or industry can be managed by these officers who have capability in taking decisions in the subject of environment. Thisprogrammeaims to develop students' knowledge and skills in Environmental Management techniques needed to analyses, diagnose and design Environmental Management plans that is required in various industries and Institutions. This has been ensured by including units such as Environmental Field Sampling, Environmental Pollution and control, Environmental Law.

Majors Environmental Management
Minimum Requirement
a)Pass in Fiji  Year 13  Certificate Examination or Fiji Year 13 internal Annual Exam/Assessment with 200 out of 400 marks with 50% minimum marks in English and any 3 Science subjects.
b)Applicant may also be admitted to the programme who may not meet the requirement on the years of continuous education progression, but who are able to demonstrate their ability to succeed in programmes at these levels on the basis of their maturity, work experience or prior learning and are 21 years of age.
