Programme Description
At the end of this programme, graduates will be able to:
1. Provides opportunities for students to develop relevant technical, vocational and interpersonal competencies suitable for employment and further training along with ethics and governance for workshop use.
2. Develop skills, knowledge and experiences - such as teamwork, communication and occupational health and safety- that are transferable to other industries.
3. Increase and enhance their range of skills and knowledge in the manufacturing and service industries.
4. Adapt quicker to new technological advances in the field coupled with training thus acquiring knowledge quickly and to develop and apply new skills effectively.
5. Have several career changes during their lifetime, which may be funded by industry, but is very often the responsibility of the individual.
6. Provides students with the best possible base for lifelong learning and for pursuing relevant career choices.
7. Become a Trade Assistant who understudies a Tradesman in the workplace.

Minimum Requirement
1. A successful completion of the Fiji Year 11 Certificate Examination with continuous progression, or equivalent/appropriate experience.
2. Affidavit of the parental consent form will be filled for students below the age of 18.
3. Mature applicants with less than the above requirements but at least two years of industrial experience will be considered.
