Programme Description
The Certificate IV in Ageing and Community Support Care will provide skills to complete specialized tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. This qualification will enable you to work in residential facilities, carry out activities to maintain personal care for people in an aged care setting, demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organization and the quantity and quality of outputs of others within limited parameters, take responsibility for your own outputs within defined organizational guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualized service planning and delivery.

Minimum Requirement
a) Students who have completed year 12 in secondary school with basic knowledge in computers and a pass in English. 
b) Applicant may also be admitted to the programme who may not meet the requirement on the years of continuous education progression, but who are able to demonstrate their ability to succeed in programmes at these levels on the basis of their maturity, work experience or prior learning and are 17 years of age
