This programme aims to develop students' knowledge and skills in specific areas of Information Technology to meet the demands of private and government sectors. The Certificate IV in Information Technology is also designed to act as a bridge to higher-level computing qualifications and provides you with a solid foundation to enter a career in computing. Improve your computer literacy and mathematics, as well as your communication, problem-solving and study skills. Teaching and learning activities that encourage students to be able to think independently, and acquire life skills of teamwork, self-discipline and best practice approaches will be encouraged:

•Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Systems, both hardware and software technology.
•Enable them to solve problems intelligently.
•Meet the ICT needs of Fiji and the region.
•Enable the IT industry to flourish in Fiji.

The minimum entry requirement for this programme is a pass in the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination with an aggregate of 200 out of 400.
