Call for applications for 40 scholarships available for Semester 1, 2023
Who is eligible to apply?
Entry is open to all first year fulltime local students who have enrolled in any undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree program or Postgraduate Studies program at FNU in 2022 and are not on any form of scholarship or sponsorship.

All applications need to be made using SAS form 23 available on FNU website
Applicants need to fill in all details and attach the following supporting documents:
Applicants from each of the five FNU Colleges and the Fiji Maritime Academy will be selected for the FNU Student Bursary Scheme. The FNU Student Bursary Scheme will be awarded to students, whose application, in the panel’s opinion, most clearly evidences their commitment to their subject discipline. Applicants would be ranked as per their overall GPA for Semester 2, 2022 and the combined family income being less than $30,000. The selection panel shall comprise of the Pro Vice Chancellor L&T, Director Student Services and Chief Financial Officer.
Successful applicants must meet all the conditions of their offer of a place at the University and have successfully enrolled in Semester 1, 2023 no later than 13th February to be eligible for the FNU Student Bursary Scheme.
Director Student Services of the Fiji National University will determine whether the application meets the criteria and can be considered for the sponsorship.
The scholarship will be held by the student for a term of 3 years.
Payment of Award
The University reserves the right to withhold or reserve or terminate payment in the event of inappropriate behaviour which breaches the University’s regulations.
Responsibilities of the FNU Student Bursary Scheme Sponsored Students
Agree that the University may use the names of the sponsored students, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in publicity and marketing materials.
