The Fiji National University (FNU) Library plays a vital role in strengthening learning and teaching, research, knowledge creation, and academic achievement across the University. To support these activities, the FNU Library provides Learning Resource (LR’s) links that give students, researchers, academic staff, and other library users quick and convenient access to reliable and relevant information resources in their areas of study.
The Learning Resource links bring together carefully selected learning and research resources in one organised location, making it easier for you to find and access information to support your academic and research needs. All the resources may include library databases, e-books, journals, textbooks, Open Educational Resources (OERs), and other reputable open-access online resources. Through the Learning resource, the Library supports student-centred services, digital access, research excellence, and the effective use of information resources across the University.
The Learning resources are available to students and academics via Moodle and the FNU Library webpage. Users can browse the recommended resources and choose the resources that are pertinent to their topic or field of study. Students and academics can use the link to find relevant information and resources to support assignments, coursework, projects, presentations, tests, independent study, research, curriculum development, reading requirements, teaching activities, and course content. The library policies and services are aligned with FNU’s strategic priorities, particularly Priority Area 2: Educational Excellence and Student-Affirming Experiences in TVET and Higher Education and Priority Area 3: Research, Innovation, Social and Technological Development.
