The Perspective of Child Physical Abuse Amongst Caregivers Attending MCH Clinics in Bua Sub Division

Authors: Talei Ruslia Jioji

Description: Child physical abuse (CPA) is an extensive public health problem because of its associations with poor health outcomes. There is dearth in the literature on abuse in Fijian communities but anecdotal evidence suggest that physical abuse is a customary practice in our communities. This study examines the perspectives of caregivers towards child physical abuse in the Bua province.
