Determinants of Food Choices and Physical Activity Among Secondary School Adolescents (15-18 Years old) in Suva : A Qualitative Study

Authors: Lilymay Dennis Roqica

Description: Studies have indicated that unhealthy food choices and sedentary lifestyles in adolescents can lead to chronic disease such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and cancer later on in their life stages. As the prevalence of overweight obesity in adolescents is rapidly increasing in Fiji, there is a greater need to understand the determinants that affect food choices in adolescence.
