This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are competent in area of sports science such as training, coaching, and fitness. Training and teaching work would be undertaken in the play grounds/courts, and labs and in the wider sporting industry. This qualification is designed to reflect the role of those who perform basic or no routine activities involving individual responsibilities or autonomy or collaboration with others as part of a team. 

Entry Requirements: Student must pass in the Fiji Year 13 certificate Examination (13 years of education with continuous progression), or its equivalent, with at least 50% in subjects designated in the relevant programme regulations or Successful completion of Certificate IV in Sports Science. Matured entry provision as in UASR.
