Programme Description
This programme is designed to equip health professionals with the ability to inspire individual and organizational excellence and successfully manage change to attain an organization's strategic ends and successful performance; establish and facilitate constructive interactions with individuals and groups; align personal and organizational conduct with ethical and professional standards that includes responsibility to the patients and community; application of business principles, including systems thinking, to the healthcare environment; and analysis and critique of health policies for better decision making.
Majors Health Services Management
Minimum Requirement
1)	An undergraduate degree in BHSM or any health-related bachelor’s degree; with a GPA of 3.0 
2)	A PG Certificate in HSM or any health-related postgraduate certificate degree; or 
3)	A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ work experience in the health leadership and management in health sector (demonstrated on their curriculum vitae) with a written and positive reference from a supervisor.   
4)	Students who have completed a postgraduate level course (or courses) in health services management, within the 5 years prior to enrolment, may be considered for lateral entry into the programme. 
5)	Applicants must complete the prescribed Postgraduate application form and may be submitted either electronically or in hardcopy to CMNHS Academic Office.
6)	All admissions into the PGDHSM shall be endorsed by the HOD before it can be endorsed by the HOS of the SPHPC, CMNHS.
