Programme Description
The programme aims to graduate students who will be able to apply statistical and epidemiological methods to a range of public health issues occurring among pacific populations, demonstrate specialist knowledge and skills in a selected area of study chosen from Applied epidemiology, Health promotion or Health Service Management, Evaluate the integrity and comparability of data and identifies gaps in data sources and apply ethical principles to the collection, maintenance, use and dissemination of data and information.

Minimum Requirement
1.	An undergraduate degree in BHP or any health-related bachelor’s degree; with a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.5 and/ or out of 5.0 
2.	A PG Certificate in HP or any health-related postgraduate certificate degree; or 
3.	A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ work experience in health sector (demonstrated on their curriculum vitae) with a written and positive reference from a supervisor.   
4.	Students who have completed a postgraduate level course (or courses) in public health or health promotion, within the 5 years prior to enrolment, may be considered for lateral entry into the programme. 
5.	All admissions into the PGDHP shall be endorsed by the HOD before it can be endorsed by the HOS of the SPHPC, CMNHS.
