This programme will equip students with the basic and important knowledge of the Finance sector of Fiji including the Banks, Insurance companies, Reserve Bank of Fiji and Ministry of Finance and Planning. The graduates will be able to: Have an introductory knowledge about basic concepts of areas of Economics, Banking and Finance. Thisprogrammesets a platform for higher-level units and its prerequisites. It also introduces the student to industrial experience through DIA. 

Pass in Fiji  Year 13  Certificate Examination or Fiji Year 13 internal Annual Exam/Assessment with pass in English.
b)Applicants who do not meet the requirement based on the years of continuous education progression, but who are able to demonstrate their ability to succeed in the programme at this level on the basis of their maturity, work experience or prior learning and are 21 years of age, may also be admitted to the programme.
