Programme Description
The proposed BDentTech programme is of three-year duration with 360 credits. Year 1 programme has four courses, year 2 & 3 of the programme has three courses each.

Majors Dental Technology
Minimum Requirement
Direct from High school/university (*This cohort - not on offer in 2026)
1. A pass in Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination or equivalent with a minimum aggregate mark of 250 out of 400 including a pass in English, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry/Physics OR.
2. Pass in full Foundation Science programme or equivalent with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 out of 4.5 or 2.53 out of 5 including a pass in English, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry/Physics.

 Lateral entry students (*This cohort - on offer in 2026)
For all FNU Diploma in Dental technology graduates (or equivalent), students should have a pass in all courses of the Diploma programme. The following information must be part of their application:
•	Official transcripts of all qualifications gained to date.
•	Curriculum vitae highlighting continuing education post qualification
 All FNU Diploma in Dental technology graduates can apply for the bridging programme and enrol in year 2 programme.
Prior work experience
Applicants who can demonstrate their ability to succeed in this programme on the basis of their maturity together with relevant work experience or/and prior learning may be considered for placement upon approval by the Dean or/and the Programme Coordinator, as per the University Academic & Student Regulations (UASR), section 4.22.1.

Students from any other oral health programmes (from other institutions).
The application should include the following supporting documents: 
•	Official transcripts of all qualifications gained to date.
•	Curriculum vitae highlighting continuing education post qualification
Submit a curriculum document for the programme undertaken, which clearly outlines the theoretical and practical hours for the courses undertaken.
