Programme Description
The Diploma in Counselling programme is intended to give students the underpinning knowledge, skills, and competencies to use interpersonal and counselling skills ethically and safely in a variety of contexts and roles. It is designed as an advanced training for professionals working in various work settings like health services, management and/or education related professions and volunteers, GOs and NGOs wherein counselling skills could be used.
Majors Counselling
Minimum Requirement
A. A pass in the Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination as per the University Academic & Student Regulation (UASR).
B. Applicant may also be admitted to the programme who may not meet the requirement on the years of continuous education progression, but who are able to demonstrate their ability to succeed in programmes at these levels on the basis of their maturity, work experience or prior learning and are 21 years of age.
