Programme Description | This course is offered to provide the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) industry with skilled tradespeople that are able to independently install, maintain, service, and commission plant and equipment to industry standards. RAC plant and equipment may include: commercial air conditioning plant found in multi-story buildings; commercial refrigeration equipment similar to that found in a supermarket; domestic refrigerators; heat/energy recovery units; industrial single or multi-staged refrigeration and air conditioning systems; or temperature and environmental control equipment in the food processing industry. |

Minimum Requirement | a) Completion of Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination with a pass in English or 12 years of education with continuous progression, or equivalent or Completion of Certificate (Level 3) programme. b) Applicants may also be admitted to the programme who may not meet the requirement on the years of the continuous education progression, but who are able to demonstrate their ability to succeed in programmes at these levels on the basis of their maturity, work experience or prior learning and are 17 years of age. |
