Programme Description
This Post-Graduate Diploma program is designed to prepare the students for middle and senior-level positions in organizations (government and NGOs) that deal with natural resource management. It is broad-based to encompass all essential components of the natural and physical environment, with the focus on climate change and its impacts on the natural, physical and human environment. An important unit is the use of GIS as a tool for the identification and management of threats to natural resources.

Minimum Requirement
An applicant for the Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Science and Management will normally have completed all requirements of a BSc in Environmental Science/Management, or equivalent, with a GPA (grade point average) of at least 3 out of 5, that is a letter grade B and above, or who is deemed to have acquired the relevant skills and knowledge through appropriate work experience in relevant areas (teaching, research, industry) for at least TWO years and would have gained sufficient knowledge and developed the aptitude to undertake higher studies.
