Business, Hospitality and Tourism are some areas which have greatly contributed to the Fijian economy over the past few years. These are also synonymous with FNU’s College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies (CBHTS).

Previously known as the School of Commerce and School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies in the former Fiji Institute of Technology, the College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies is based on years of focus on the Human Resource needs of Fiji and the region.

In our business, we are committed to quality and excellence in teaching, research and policy, and actively engaging with the community.

As a dynamic learning environment, CBHTS continually reviews and refines curricula and offers comprehensive programmes at Certificate, Diploma, Degree and Postgraduate levels to meet all aspects of practical and applied management relevant to all levels of industry and business organisations. The College offers traditional full-time programmes as well as evening programmes for working students.

In the business TVET stream, the College also offers programmes in the areas of Office Administration, Front Line Management, Visual Merchandising, Pastry, Cookery, Restaurant Services, Accommodation and Front Office Operations.

Our general business programmes in each of the core business disciplines for Higher Education (HE) programmes include Accounting, Economics, Finance, Customs, Merchandising, Insurance, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Hotel Management and Marketing.

CBHTS plans to deliver more of its programmes in the Blended (B) mode.
