Unit Name: Plasma Physics

Description: The literature reports that more than 99% of our universe is in a plasma state establishing. Plasma Physics as a fundamental subject underpinning many wide research areas such as astrophysics, space physics, laboratory ionised gaese and controlled thermonuclear fusion. Plasma Physics research plays sn important role in spacecraft propulsion technology, plasma television and electronic chip manufacturing. In this course, students will learn about plasmas, the fourth state of matter. The plasma state dominates the visible universe, and is of increasing economic importance. Plasmas behave in lots of interesting and something unexpected ways.
