Description: This module is to familiarise the student with radio navigation principles.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to; a) State the operation and function of an Automatic Direction Finder System (ADF). b) Describe the operation, function and servicing of a VHF Omni Range System (VOR). c) Describe the operation, function and servicing of an Instrument Landing System (ILS). d) Describe the construction, operation, and characteristics of satellite navigation systems (GPS).
