Programme Description
The Postgraduate Diploma in Otolaryngology at the FNU College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (CMNHS) is offered at level 8 for one-year full time. This programme is aimed at medical practitioners in Pacific Island countries interested in offering surgical care in particular ear, nose, throat, and head & Neck (ENT).  This programme has MER of MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution plus a minimum of three years of clinical work experience after graduation of which at least two years in a Surgical or ENT unit. 

This programme has the course ENT801 title Otolaryngology I with120 credits This one-year full time study programme includes didactic teaching and clinical attachment in the ENT outpatient clinic, ward and operation theatre.

Minimum Requirement
1.	MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution plus a minimum of three years of clinical work experience after graduation of which at least two years is in a Surgical or ENT unit.

2.	Applicants must be registered with the Fiji Medical Council (FMC) prior to the commencement of the academic year.

Applicants should be a citizen of a Pacific Island country; outside applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the HOS in consultation with discipline/unit head and the PGAC.
