Unit Name: Otolaryngology I

Description: The purpose of the programme is for MBBS or equivalent doctors with 3 year clinical experience which at least 2 years surgical or ENT clinical experience • to Educate and up-skill qualified doctors in the clinical otolaryngology specialty of their study • to Develop the skills and knowledge to competently manage the common cause of morbidity and mortality of patients in ear, nose, throat and head & neck area. • to Be able to competently identify more complex diseases and refer the patient for otolaryngology specialist’s care • to Provide an opportunity to proceed to a specialist qualification at a Master of Medicine in Otolaryngology level.
