Programme Description

This module specifies the competency required imparting to the participants the knowledge and skills required for solid plastering and so includes specific detail on selection of plaster tools, material, mixture of mortar and the application of plaster to prepared surfaces. This unit also includes batching of plaster by given ratio which involves calculation of each ingredient of plaster by volume of dry mix and wet mix. The underpinning knowledge will assist participants to understand the curing of plaster on site and also transportation of blocks and plaster within the site.
