Programme Description

This module covers the competencies to install a water supply system from the utilities\' main to the metering device, according to water Authorities requirements. The service pipe connection from the main is to be bored and installed at 90 deg to the premises water meter. The installation of service pipe into the building for the kitchen sink, standpipe, toilet, the shower water connections and the testing of the pipes.
The competencies encompessed in this module is equivalent to Level 4 of the National Qualifications for Plumbing Trade.
