Programme Name Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery (Quota Based)
Programme Description
The Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery is a one year programme for registered nurses and prepares graduates for endorsement as midwives. The programme of study is by coursework offered as a combination of residential school and clinical experiences in the various locations. The 800 hours of clinical experience will be spread across the midwifery continuum. During the residential school, emphasis will be given to theory supporting the practice of clinical skills.

Minimum Requirement
1. A registered nurse with Bachelor of Nursing and a minimum GPA of 3.0, or equivalent with 3 years of General and Obstetric Nursing experience. 
2. A registered Nurse with a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of General and Obstetric Nursing Experience. 
3. Applicants from Pacific Island countries or outside applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the HOD in consultation with the Midwifery Team and HOS.
4. All applicants must submit a character and work-related reference/testimonial from their immediate supervisor with their application.
