Programme Description
This programme shall prepare students to be; knowledgeable in and have a broad understanding of climate change and its effects, able to undertake a critical analysis  of climate change related issues, competent in undertaking climate change related research and produce comprehensive reports, competent in leading or contributing to design and implementing climate change related policies in the country and by other Pacific Island countries, able to design mitigation strategies as well as respond to climate related disasters and assist communities.

Minimum Requirement
a)The minimum entry requirement for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma  shall be the completion of a Bachelor’s degree programme in the subject with a minimum GPA of 3.0, or equivalent. 
b)Applicants may also be admitted to the  Postgraduate Diploma programme who may not meet the requirement above, but who are able to demonstrate their ability to succeed in the programmes at this Level on the basis of maturity, work experience, or prior learning. The Dean may place any relevant prerequisite requirement for such a student to progress, or require such an applicant to sit for any specific or general examination as a prerequisite for any such enrollment, or may restrict enrollment only to certain prescribed courses that must be passed to progress further.
