Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the FNU Graduate Scholarship to undertake Masters by Research or Doctor of Philosophy studies at the Fiji National University.

The University is keen to fund Graduate studies in any of the five colleges for a period of two years for Masters by Research degree and three years for Doctor of Philosophy on full-time study basis.

• Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies
• Engineering, Science and Technology
• Humanities and Education
• Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences

Scholarship Benefits

• Tuition Fees (paid directly)
• General Service Fees (paid directly)
• Book Allowance of up to FJD750
• Living Allowance of FJD21,600 per year
• Dependent Allowance (if applicable)
• Research Grant up to FJ$10,000 for Masters by Research and up to FJD15,000 for Doctor of Philosophy after confirmation of candidature

Scholarship Conditions

• The scholarships are for full-time study only.
• The applicant must be a Fiji citizen, and not currently enrolled in a programme.
• Awardees are not permitted to be in paid employment during the tenure of their awards and will be required to work on their research for a minimum of 40 hours per week for the entire year.
