The University Higher Degrees by Research Committee (HDRC) is responsible for the approval of all Doctoral and Masters by Research Programmes, enrolment of students, progression and examination of Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) students in compliance with the University’s HDR policies and procedures. HDRC has oversight of the quality and provision of support for research students. HDRC promotes excellence in all aspects of Higher Degrees by Research training by working alongside other University professional services and Colleges to enhance the HDR experience and support and to encourage a vibrant HDR community.

Higher Degrees by Research Committee is a subcommittee of the University Senate.
