RKS Students at the 2023 FNU Open Day
Fiji National University (FNU) is expecting 20,000 individuals to be part of the 2024 annual Open Day next month – the largest number of attendees at the event to date.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba said the university was excited to welcome the students and members of the public to their campuses.
“FNU’s Open Day sessions offer students a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insights into campus life. Attendees can ask questions, get clarifications, and learn about the academic programmes and support services available. Exploring the campus will also provide a glimpse into the vibrant student community and the exciting extra-curricular activities offered,” said Professor Nabobo-Baba.
“FNU served about 16,000 individuals last year, and we expect the number to go close to 20,000 this year. A lot of interest has been shown by schools and former students interested in furthering their education at the Fiji National University.
“To further enhance accessibility, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our Open Day event to our Namaka and Naduna Campuses again this year. These additional venues underscore our ongoing commitment to providing quality educational opportunities for all individuals seeking to pursue technical, vocational, and higher education programmes.”
The Vice-Chancellor stated that 500 student tour guides will be present to assist students and members of the public.
