FNU Enrolment Centres Open

Press Release Posted On: January 7, 2020

As celebrations for the New Year subsides, the focus for many parents and students has now shifted to the 2020 school year.

Keeping this in mind and with only 4 weeks remaining until the commencement of semester one 2020, the Fiji National University (FNU) has dispatched enrolment teams around the country to assist with academic counselling that prospective students or parents might need.

The FNU enrolment teams located at strategic locations around the country provide students, parents and guardians with academic counselling, guidance on filling the application forms and facilitation of offer letters.

The ‘pop-up enrolment centres’ are currently in operation at MHCC Suva, Tappoo City Lautoka and Charan Jeath Mall in Labasa.

The FNU enrolment teams had also undertaken roadshows at significant towns around the country last weekend.

“The roadshow is an effective means of reaching out to students who are still enjoying their holidays. We have campuses and centres around the country, however, keeping in mind that we are the national university, we try to undertake as many outreach activities as possible so every Fijian has access to information on higher education,” said FNU’s Director Marketing and Communications, Jenies Mudiliar.

“Our roadshow teams made every effort to ensure all prospective students were assisted with their enrollment. Those who have missed out can visit our pop-up enrolment centres at MHCC, Tappoocity Lautoka AND Charanjeath Mall Labasa which will be operating until the close of enrolment later this month. Students can also visit any of our campuses for guidance.”

FNU strives to provide pathways to formal qualification for all tertiary education seekers and the enrolment teams are working closely with key stakeholders such as the Tertiary Students Loans Board (TSLB) to ensure all students can enrol on time.

“Our staff at each of our campuses around the country have been assisting the students with the enrolment process and at the same time are providing academic counselling to potential students,” said Mudiliar.

All students and parents are encouraged to visit any FNU Campus, Enrolment Centre venues or the website for information regarding the full range of study opportunities being offered.
