The Fiji National University (FNU) has partnered with Fijian Holdings Limited (FHL) to create a new platform for recent and upcoming graduates.
The collaboration aims to also provide an engagement session for graduates to learn more about the 2025 Fijian Holdings Graduate Program, which offers opportunities in Investment, Finance, Audit, Risk, and Compliance.
FHL Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Jaoji Koroi stated that the collaboration, is critical to expose graduates and students to FHL’s Purpose, Values and its Employment Practices with the focus of hiring the best to be part of its Graduate Associate Cohort for 2025.
This appreciation session will allow graduates and students to visualise a career in Finance, Investments, Risk and the opportunity to be developed as a future leader in Finance.
Actual Career Pathways will be shared and planners for the program’s development focus in building commercial, operational, and leadership skills over a 12-month period will be a key agenda.
This commitment builds on the strategic priorities of the FHL Group in “Growing into New Frontiers, in pursuit of Our Core Purpose”.
“We encourage graduates and students to come to this engagement session to inform their decision to apply for the program. For successful candidates, completing the program may lead to appointments into Associate roles within the FHL Group, providing industry exposure and diverse skill-building opportunities. This will include Finance accreditations and assigned roles in key projects must be successfully delivered and achieved. Such contribution and development will include focus areas such as Merger and Acquisitions, Risk Management; guided by sponsorship and engagements with FHL Group Leadership” this was further added by the Group Head of Human Resources Tanya Nacagilevu.
FNU Vice-Chancellor Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba welcomed the initiative, emphasising the importance of creating new pathways for graduates.
Professor Nabobo-Baba stated “This collaboration with FHL opens up exciting opportunities for our graduates to gain hands-on experience to build competencies critical to the Finance, Banking & Investment Industry, which align with the programs offered at FNU’s College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies School of Accounting and Law, School of Management, School of Economics and Finance.”
The interactive session with FNU graduates will allow them to learn more about the program and engage with key staff members from FHL. The session provides a unique opportunity for graduates to ask questions and explore potential career paths within the FHL Group.
Applications for the 2025 Fijian Holdings Graduate Programme is currently open and will close at the end of the month.
FHL and FNU hope that graduates will take advantage of this opportunity to join the FHL Group and further their professional development in the industry.
