The newly-established Coffee Haven at the Fiji National University’s (FNU) Nadi Campus is already making a positive impact, not only by supporting needy students but also by attracting organisations such as Fiji Television Limited (Fiji TV), which utilised the space to host its West auditions for Season 4 of The Vocal Battle.
Coffee Haven offers more than just coffee, it represents opportunity, community support, and a shared vision for a more inclusive learning environment.
It is part of the charitable heart of FNU – the FNU Foundation.
The key focus areas of the FNU Foundation includes Scholarships and Student Support, Coffee Forward Initiative, Veilomani Closet and the Veilomani Food Pantry – which supports underserved students to achieve their goals.
Fiji TV’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Janish Sheik, said the venue proved to be the ideal choice for their activity.
“We wanted a place very central, and somewhere we could easily do our branding, somewhere that was accommodative of the number of people who were going to audition with us, and that is why we chose the venue,” she said.

Ms Sheik noted that it was her and the team’s first time visiting Coffee Haven, and the experience exceeded expectations.
“It was beautiful. The team here at FNU were very accommodating, it was a pleasant experience,” she added.
The FNU is privileged to collaborate with Fiji TV.
