Guest Speaker: Jaidev Prakash Maharaj

A Building Designer with over 20 years experience in Feasibility Studies, Outline, Proposal, Scheme, Designs, Detail Designs, Construction Documentation, Tenders, Approvals and Project Management, specialising in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, Community, Education and Tourism Projects.

He is also a Full Member of Building Designers Association of Australia. Mr Jaidev Prakash Maharaj began his studies at the Fiji National University’s College of Engineering Science and Technology (formerly known as Fiji Institute of Technology) in 1997 to 1999 enrolling in the Diploma in Architectural Technology, then Diploma in Quantity Surveying in 2001 to 2002, and later enrolling and graduating with a Diploma in Architectural Drafting in 2022.

MrJaidev Prakash Maharaj is currently Managing Director of Oceanic Designs & Building Consultants and Pacific Oz-tralasia (Fiji) PTE Ltd, the company supplies hospitality products and does turn-key projects for Resorts, Hotels, Hospitals and Restaurants in Fiji and the Pacific. Currently, he is the Liaison Officer for Building Designers Association of Australia in Fiji.
