The Division of Human Resources is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Ella Bennion as Director, Marketing and Communications, effective from 1 July 2026.

Ms Bennion brings a wealth of experience in marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement across the higher education and corporate sectors. She holds a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs (2021), a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Policy and Administration (2011), a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Applied Psychology (2010), and a Diploma in Community Development (2010), all from the University of the South Pacific.

With more than 30 years of professional experience, including 15 years in higher education, Ms Bennion has successfully led major marketing and communications initiatives, coordinated international student exchange programmes, and established strong partnerships with universities, employers, alumni and industry leaders across the Pacific.

Her extensive expertise in strategic marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement and brand development aligns strongly with the Fiji National University's vision of being a dynamic, innovative and globally connected institution. Her appointment as Director, Marketing and Communications is expected to further strengthen FNU's brand presence and expand its reach across local, regional and international platforms.

The University welcomes Ms Bennion to her new role and looks forward to her leadership in advancing FNU's marketing and communications agenda.
