Fiji National University’s Natabua Campus is located at Natabua in Lautoka. The Campus offers programmes of study for:
College of Humanities and Education
College of Engineering, Science and Technology
The Campus is predominantly home to the School of Education and the College of Humanities and Education.
Previously home to the Lautoka Teachers College, the Natabua Campus has the largest lecture theatre in Fiji with a seating capacity of 680 people.
Appropriately named “Na WereLevu” (The Big House), it recognizes the language of the traditional landowners of Natabua.
The Campus has well-equipped teaching and learning spaces including a modern Library, ICT Labs, Bookshop, Cafeteria and Dining spaces, Language Hub, Math Help Kiosk and On-Campus Medical Clinic.
Monthly activities are organized for students such as sports days and talent quests with rewards to encourage participation.
Staff and students at the Campus also organise environmental awareness weeks for the Go Green initiative with weekly clean – up campaigns.
The Campus also values its relationship with the community and practices social responsibility through its outreach activities which include community clean-ups and visiting the elderly and disabled.
There is a gym and multipurpose court on Campus to assist in enhancing PEMAC teacher training and to strengthen training programmes for the Rugby 15’s team participating at Lautoka Rugby union top division.
