FNU, RCL Strengthen Workforce Through Leadership Training Partnership

The Fiji National University’s (FNU) National Training and Productivity Centre (NTPC) has formalised a strategic partnership with RCL Services Pte Limited, operating under Recoveriescorp, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) yesterday.
The agreement marks a significant milestone for Fiji’s business sector, with RCL Services Pte Limited, operating under Recoveriescorp becoming the first Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company in the country to undergo a structured leadership and management training programme through the University.
NTPC Director Productivity and Innovation, Bob Mitchell, welcomed the collaboration, emphasising the importance of investing in people to drive organisational success.
“Our office is always open if you think we need to develop new courses and how we can move forward especially to partner with us while at the same time taking your organisation to world-class levels,” Mr Mitchell said.
He revealed that consultations between FNU and RCL Services Pte Limited, operating under Recoveriescorp began in October 2025, laying the groundwork for the customised training programme.
“The Leadership and Management training commenced in late January 2026 and concluded in March, engaging a total of 48 participants across two batches to ensure effective learning, interaction, and practical application,” Mr Mitchell highlighted.
The programme was facilitated by Ashaana Lata, who delivered practical insights and impactful learning experiences tailored to the needs of the organisation.
RCL Services Pte Limited, operating under Recoveriescorp Head of Operations – Fiji, Eric Martin, expressed optimism about the future of the partnership, noting the tangible benefits already seen within the organisation.
Mr Martin acknowledged the value of the collaboration and extended his appreciation to FNU for delivering high-quality training programmes, adding that such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening leadership capabilities and supporting organisational growth.
He added that FNU and RCL will also explore future projects aimed at benefiting the industry and the wider community through various programmes.
The partnership reflects FNU’s ongoing commitment to working closely with industry to build capacity, enhance workforce productivity, and support the development of globally competitive organisations in Fiji.
