The Fiji National University (FNU) Foundation is honoured to be selected as one of the recipients in Cope Construction’s 30 Acts of Kindness campaign, marking the company’s 30th anniversary of service and commitment to the Fijian community.

The 30 Acts of Kindness initiative celebrates Cope Construction’s three decades of contribution to national development by giving back to organisations that are making a positive impact on education, health, community welfare, and social empowerment.

The FNU Foundation’s inclusion reflects its ongoing efforts to create opportunities for students through scholarships, community partnerships, and philanthropic initiatives that advance education in Fiji.

Speaking of recognition, Executive Director of the FNU Foundation, Alumni and Impact Assessment Ms Karen Lobendahn expressed gratitude to Cope Construction for acknowledging the Foundation’s work and supporting its initiative to assist the underserved students at the university.

“This recognition reinforces our commitment to building futures through education. Partnerships like this allow us to continue supporting students who face financial barriers and to promote initiatives that strengthen our communities,” Ms Lobendahn said.

The donation from Cope Construction will contribute directly to the Foundation’s Student Scholarship Fund, which provides much-needed assistance to students from disadvantaged backgrounds across FNU’s campuses.

Cope Construction, at their 30th year anniversary ceremony yesterday, highlighted that the 30 Acts of Kindness initiative is about giving back to the communities that have supported the company’s journey over the past three decades.

The FNU Foundation congratulates Cope Construction on its 30th anniversary and acknowledges its leadership in promoting corporate social responsibility. Together, FNU and Cope Construction continue to build pathways for a stronger, more inclusive Fiji through education and partnership.
