Fiji National University’s (FNU) National Training and Productivity Centre (NTPC) is gearing up to host Fiji’s first-ever National Hospitality Conference which will be held at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi on Friday, 7 June.
With the theme “Embracing Innovation and Continuous Improvement in Hospitality”, the conference brings together tourism and hospitality industry greats with decades of experience in the tourism industry such as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Honourable Viliame Gavoka, Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association Chief Executive Officer, Fantasha Lockington and Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Brent Hill who will be speaking extensively on the theme and other strategic areas in the industry.

FNU’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor TVET, Dr Isimeli Tagicakiverata says that he is eagerly looking forward to the discussions that will be held at the conference.
“This is a first for our nation and I am proud to say that FNU is leading the way in providing a platform to discuss the way forward for such a crucial industry in our nation,” highlighted Dr Tagicakiverata.
“We will be discussing issues such as Adapting to Changing Consumer Preferences, Technology Adoption and Digital Transformation, Sustainability Practices and Eco-Friendly Innovations and Leadership Strategies for Fostering Innovation.”
