The Fiji National University (FNU) will commence its Enrolment Drive Roadshows this week to assist students with their application and enrolment needs for Semester 1, 2023 studies.
FNU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Lyn Karstadt said the Roadshows enabled the University to take its academic services to towns and centres around the country for the benefit of prospective and returning students.
The first Roadshow will be conducted at the Nausori Bus Stand this week on 13-14 January.
“The Roadshows are a component of our Semester 1 Enrolment Drive campaign, and our main objective is to make our services accessible to all Fijians who wish to study at FNU this year,” Professor Karstadt said.
“Students, parents, guardians and stakeholders can visit our Roadshow booths to obtain academic counselling, enquire about our programmes and entry requirements and submit their applications.”
“A main factor of the Roadshows is that students who apply may receive an Offer Letter if they meet the course entry requirements.”
Prof Karstadt said representatives from the University Colleges would also be present at the Roadshows to answer queries from students and parents.
“I encourage everyone to utilise the roadshows and obtain first-hand information to assist families in deciding on a tertiary study option that is aligned to a student’s career ambitions,” she emphasised.
“FNU has courses from TVET to postgraduate levels of qualification and caters to the study interests of all.”
“Students who have decided on a study programme can submit their applications now through our online portal or in person.”
For ease in admission and registration, FNU has dedicated Enrolment Centres to serve new and continuing students at the Koronivia, Nasinu, Derrick, Ba, Natabua, Namaka and Labasa campuses. Students can visit these campuses to complete their application process.
