Congratulations to Izak Benjamin Yam, a former FM96 radio host who proudly graduated today with a Bachelor of Nursing from FNU.

Originally from the village of Motusa in the beautiful island of Rotuma, Yam also earned a place on the Dean’s Honours List yesterday — a remarkable achievement.

“I am the first male nurse in my family,” he shared with pride.

“After working as a radio announcer from 2016 to 2019, I decided it was time for a new direction.”

In 2022, he began his nursing journey, starting at certificate level — and today, he celebrates how far he has come.
