
Year 13 students of Saint John’s College
The Fiji National University’s Open Day 2025 concluded yesterday at the Nasinu Campus, marking the last day of the three-day event that welcomed students from across the country to explore academic opportunities and career pathways.
Among those attending were enthusiastic Year 13 students who shared their goals and excitement about joining FNU in the future.
Teresia Tuivuna, 19, from Saint John’s College, said her main interest lies in the nursing field. “My goal was to get more information on the nursing field and learn more about FNU and how life will be in the next three years,” she said.
For Katarina Bativudi, 18, her aspirations point toward food science. “My goal was to know more information about food science and learn more about life in FNU—how I will spend my three years here,” she explained.
Lanieta Dau, also 18, expressed her curiosity about laboratory science. “My goal when coming to the Open Day was to explore more information on laboratory science and how FNU will treat me in the next years,” she shared.
Similarly, Maria Seinijale, 19, echoed the same interest. “My goal at the Open Day was to get more information on my career path, which is laboratory science, and how to join here in three years,” she said.
As the final day drew to a close, the event highlighted the hopes and ambitions of young people eager to pursue their studies and careers through The Fiji National University.
